Now, Elliott's advanced new portable manhole seat grinder changes all
that. It sets up on site in as little as one-third the time needed
for outmoded grinding tools. It adjusts quickly and accurately in a
fixed plane. And it gets the job done with precision to assure tight,
leakproof seals. The economical Elliott seat grinder is rugged, compact,
weighs only 38 pounds and adapts to inside diameters from 10" x 14" elliptical,
to 18" round.

Elliott high-speed handhole seat grinder is light, easy to handle,
and precision-engineered to reface boiler header seats with important
cost savings to you.
It

Unit
holds grinding wheel securely in one plane. All movement of the grinder
is confined precisely within the plane to assure unvarying accuracy.
Face plate is threaded to plate stud of adjacent handhole. Adjust plate
screws to face plate on ball joint with four leveling screws. This
provides rigid alignment of grinding wheel relative to seat face at
virtually any angle.
