Expansion
Joints
Non-metallic expansion joints are flexible connectors
designed to provide stress relief in ducting systems by absorbing movements
caused by thermal changes. They also can act as vibration isolators
and shock absorbers and to compensate for minor duct misalignment.
They can be fabricated from a variety of non-metallic materials including
synthetic elastometers, fabric, insulation materials and fluoroplastics.
Expertly Designed to compensate for:
• Movement caused
by thermal changes
• Vibration and Shock
• Minor Duct Misalignment
Features
• More Movement in Shorter Face to Face
• Less Flex Force Than Metal Expansion Joints
• Chemical and Corrosion Resistant
• Handle Temperatures in Range (-110 F to +2000 F)
• Lower Shipping and Installation Costs
• Available in a variety of Materials
• Elastomers have Excellent Abrasion Resistance
• Custom designed for each specific
application
