Dampers
• DIVERTER DAMPERS Features BUTTERFLY DAMPERS are the most economical way to ensure isolation and control of flue gases. They can be used for air, gas, and water applications where absolute "tight" shut-off is not required. They are not as precise as louver dampers, however, but are excellent cost-effective choices when precise flow control is not critical. These dampers are available in wafer or lug format, and are suitable for upto 25 psi differential pressure. They are designed for ANSI 125/150 LB. or RPM flanges and can handle a temperature range of -20ºF to +450ºF. They available in various seat configurations - contact us for more information. LOUVER-TYPE DAMPERS are most effective for control of flue gases without disturbing the flow in the system. They typically come in parallel or opposed blades types. GUILLOTINE DAMPERS are great for reliable isolation of gas flow. The"workhorse" of dampers, Guillotine dampers are built to withstand conditions that other dampers simply can't take. This includes high temperatures, high dust and ash buildup. They are also appropriate in corrosive environments. The Slide Gate functions great for low leakage on smaller duct work areas. They are available in round or rectangular format to meet your needs.
